My first Tedx Talk: From Pain to Purpose – My TEDx Journey

August 30, 2025 – A date etched in my life for more than one reason. Exactly 11 years ago , I got engaged. And on that very same date this year, I received a life-changing opportunity: my first TEDx talk , hosted at GGI under the inspiring theme “Chase the Impossible.” Standing on that red dot, I felt a mix of emotions — excitement , nervousness , and the quiet ache of loss , having lost my wife, whose memories remain deeply rooted in my heart. In my talk, I shared a story born in the midst of COVID-19 — a time when Ms. Renu and I were both navigating personal grief in different ways. It was during this difficult phase that Mr. Chaitanya brought us together — blending Renu’s deep nutritional expertise with my technical background . Sharing the experience of being a Jury Member at Expressions 2019, GNIMT Ludhiana

Hey friends,

I am glad and feel honored to share that I was invited by GNIMT Expressions 2019 event to become one of the Jury members for Logo Designing and Web Designing events.

First things first, I congratulate GNIMT  for organizing the intercollege fest and the 25 colleges including CT University Ludhiana, Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana, Guru Nanak Dev Polytechnic College, Ludhiana, Arya College, Kamla Lohtia College, SCD Government College whose students participated in various events.

I am really glad that the students are being encouraged to learn and possess programming skills, logo and web designing.

I saw some of the very nice logo(s) created and some of the very nice proof of concepts with rich and responsive UI for ecommerce and travel agency websites. So, huge applaud and respect for the participants.

I am super grateful to the worthy teachers of GNIMT who were assisting the students in resolving development environment specific issues like XAMPP installation or XAMPP port configuration.

The gems are there already but I felt that they need the right guidance on the industry needs, the new and modern tools and technologies that can be used to build rich applications at a good pace and the best practices.
There is also a need to spread the awareness about the companies who are extending their helping hands to the students and the talent whole-heartedly.

Yes, I am talking about Technossus here, a multinational company based in Irvine, California who has development centers in Ludhiana as well as in Mohali. Technossus is conducting regular meetups to help the students and tech professionals improve their skills and learn new things.
We are also organizing and participating in the community events and encouraging everyone to do so, so that we can build a rich pool of talent around us and can make this world a better place with digital power.

We had a very recent event Azure DevOps Community Launch - Mohali 2019 and are going to participate in Global Azure Bootcamp 2019.
